Earth's atmosphere surrounds the planet, an envelope of gases that protects us all. Right now we're facing the destruction of this mysterious life-giving substance. We are poisoning the air we breathe and obscuring our view of the night sky, the cosmos. The night sky has influenced humans the world over since the dawn of time. We've navigated our way across oceans, seasons, rites of passage and mythologies by the light of the stars. The medicine we need now is to speak from the heart, infusing our words with the atmosphere of the moment. When we speak, the words themselves shape the air, and is our act of creation. When we use our voices intentionally, our words become prayer, a gift of reverence for ourselves, for all life, for atmosphere. Remember, air is the conductor of spirit.
