Each full moon you will receive this note with a suggested ritual or ceremony to keep you on track with the lunar cycle and your current new moon practice. These are crafted to keep you spiritually nourished and to help you to continue to expand your spiritual growth.
Our Practice this Month is: Ancestors, Reverence and the Unknown.
Our prayer is:

Our prayer is:
As I enter the unknown
I trust in the wisdom of now
And I open to receive
All that is good for me
My heart is free
In traditional cultures worldwide, ancestors are revered as vital sources of wisdom, guidance, and spiritual power, accessible through rituals, dreams, the inner journey and other ceremonies and practices of reverence. They embody ancient wisdom and offer healing and guidance that transcends time.
Ancestral traditions remind us that we are part of nature.

This months full moon is a super moon. It is the second, and biggest, of three super full moons in succession. A super moon is when the Moon is at the closest point to Earth during its orbit, appearing larger and brighter, and its gravitational pull can cause higher ocean tides. Our inner emotional waters can also be affected.
This full moon is in earthy Taurus, the sign of stability, grounding, material security, beauty and manifestation. This is a perfect opportunity to celebrate your inner value. Your inner value is your gold. Part of your inner value is in your inherited gifts.
We are all born with gifts — our unique abilities - medicine that is ours alone to develop and express, and the gifts we inherit from our ancestors.

This month, we’ve been tending a shrine for Mother Earth and for those ancestors, personal and collective, whose footprints light our way into the unknown.
The intention for this full moon devotion is to celebrate the ancestral gifts you have inherited and to remember that you are their dream—and that one day, your descendants will be the manifestation of yours.
Remember, a shrine is a space set aside for reverence; an altar rests within it.
Alternately, you might have chosen to focus on simply creating an ancestor altar.
Flowers, candles, incense and food are wonderful offerings to add to your altar.

When we practice gratitude we enhance our experience of grace. Gratitude and grace help us navigate life with a sense of balance and optimism. When we offer gratitude to the ancestors we open the way to commune more deeply with them. To recognise their gifts deepens our ability to nourish and express them. To embody them. Their gifts are foundational to the expression of our own unique medicine.
Think of at least three things you are grateful that you have received from your ancestors — personal and collective, and from Mother Earth herself.
Find creative ways to represent them on your altar or simply write them down on a piece of paper — even drawing from your imagination — and place it there amongst the candles and flowers and whatever else you have chosen to represent your thankfulness and reverence.
Within the expression of gratitude is the power to make change. And before we make real change we must dream about it.

As part of your gratitude practice reflect on your dream for your descendants. Write it out and place it on the altar. This is surely one of the best ways of offering gratitude to those who have gone before us — by tending the well being of the future of the lineage.
Under the light of the full moon, or by candle light, say out loud the things you are thankful for, perhaps naming the ancestors, and then read them your dream for the descendants. Let them bear witness to your deepest desires for the new members of your lineage as well as those yet to be born.

You might also record your dreams and ancestral stories in a document to share with family members—a living collection to which other relatives and future generations can add. In this way, their wisdom and your dreams will not be lost to time but will continue to offer comfort and direction.
My dream is that my descendants will still be able to see the stars and, as I often have, sit around a camp fire and share stories under the night sky.
Any stories we have, and can pass on about the ancestors, adds to our sense of stability and belonging in the world. The foundations of our ancestors support us as we move through the great shifts occurring on our planet. I shared about ‘The Way of Truth’ in the new moon practice, a saying that teaches us to trust as we enter the unknown — to deepen into our own wisdom, cultivate our inner guidance, and navigate the shoreline of certainty and uncertainty. Let us know if you didn’t receive it and we will send it to you.
So, during the time of this super moon, show your gratitude and honour the ancestors with flowers, incense and any other things that lift your heart and remind you of them and your dreams for the future. This time of celebration is precious, healing, uplifting and grounding. A perfect opportunity to offer reverence for the good things you have inherited and wish to pass on.
These Wild Wisdom practices can be used at any time. Consistent practices of reverence and devotion raise our vibration and keep us heart centred.
Much love
Michelle
