The Beauty Way is based in the beauty way of both Michelle's Gaelic ancestors and the Dine, or Navajo, ancestors. It is about walking the way of plenty, the way of giving, the way of receiving. It is based in the principle of love. That we are sharing the beauty way of Mother Earth and her love enfolds us and supports us on our journey. It acknowledges all our relatives - all of nature - and the natural magic and guidance available to us when we walk in beauty. Many of the words are drawn from words Michelle speaks often in prayers and also from Michelle's song lyrics. The last stanza in particular captures something very specific from Michelle's teachings. It is also fortified by words of the Mexican healer, Maria Sabina. The video was filmed up above Michelle's home in the rainforest, so it visually intertwines words that are ancestral and influential on Michelle's work and her own dreaming and where it evolves.
