Journey of the Radiant Heart 2012
10 Days into the West of Ireland 21st September — 1st October, 2012
This year our pilgrimage begins on the eve of autumn equinox.
Join us from the 21st September - 1st October for our 2012 pilgrimage in Connemara, a mysterious land where wonder tales originate and the old ways are alive. People have loved this land for thousands of years and their story is woven throughout the landscape where we will spend our time. A land of beauty and mystique, of pirates, smugglers, and revolutionaries, of fairy forts, prehistoric stone alignments, pilgrimage, and hollow hills, it is nourishment for the soul.

At such a pivotal time as 2012 - a time so many have anticipated - we have decided to change the basic format of our experience. The emphasis of this adventure will be the individual pathway of wild wisdom and old truth. The times that are ahead are challenging, exciting and provocative. In keeping with this years dreaming ‘We Are All One’ ( Beyond the Gate; Being the Change and Regrowing Our Mystical Roots ), we will honour the ancient pathways of the hollow hills. Following the footprints of a sea faring folk whose story stretches back to prehistory, we will explore islands, peninsulas, spectacular coastline, ancient portal tombs and mountain forts as we experience Living Through the Heart™.
Our challenge this year is to seek real transformation and to embody our own particular individual wisdom and earth magic, integrating them with the old ways. West Ireland is one of the few places in the western world that still has the ‘old ways’, known there as sean nós. A living, breathing tradition, sean nós is creative expressions of the spiritual pathway, with hundreds, perhaps thousands, of years of tradition flowing through that expression. You will find, I am sure, that this mystical land and culture nurture a power and wisdom that will support you to focus through the heart, experience the earth magic and embody your own magic.
Our pilgrimage also coincides with the local Clifden Arts Festival this year and we will have the opportunity to experience sean nós performances including song, dance, music and story telling, as well as the opportunity to enjoy readings, theatre, local art and craic ( fun ).
Our accommodation is poised high on the cliffs overlooking the north west Atlantic surrounded by the rugged and inspiring landscape of the most westerly point of Europe. To support our vision for this years trip we will accommodate you in one of several large twin share rooms or a small single room, and there will be several lounge rooms available, to ensure space and time for reflection, restoration and integration.
Our food is locally sourced and organic. Everything is home cooked by Wim - from delicious vegetarian dinners and gourmet picnics, to home made sough dough breads and scones. Most diets are catered for within reason.
There will be a focus on individual work with Michelle, including several private sessions for each participant, and we will plan outings appropriate for each individual and their own journey. There will also be some exciting group outings threaded throughout our time together, including our traditional day out with our friend, renowned story teller and archaeologist, Michael Gibbons.
We welcome you to be part of a community of seekers and adventurers and spend 10 rich days steeped in the mystery and magic of western Ireland.
