Journey of the Feminine Warrior

10 Days into the West of Ireland 11th May — 20th May, 2008

We are entering a time of infinite possibilities. A time where we are being challenged to be more. To stretch and reach out to make our dreams our reality. To become co creators.

This requires courage and an open heart.

I invite you to join me for 10 days in the west of Ireland, to be part of a like minded community who recognize that change is at hand and who wish to take a proactive role in this most exciting and challenging era. Come and learn to walk the Beauty Way.

Every where I go people ask me what they can do to make a difference. More than ever I hear people ask “what am I doing here, what is my purpose?” The Feminine Warrior programs have developed from the work I have done with groups in various countries over recent years. The Feminine Warrior Pilgrimage is an answer to the calling of our Earth during her dark night of the soul.

You are invited to embark on a journey of courage and transformation with Michelle MacEwan, visionary teacher, healer and guide. Michelle’s work is steeped in the traditions of her Celtic ancestors and her teachings focus on embracing a way of life that is acknowledged as a unique blend of ancient wisdom and practice and her own distinct and insightful skills.

In this time of immense change and transition the battle lines have been drawn between those who are inherently exploitative and who violate and marginalize nature and the feminine principle of sovereignty and those who seek the ecological pathway of harmony, stability and diversity.

The Feminine Warrior programs embody principles and practices that honour our world and embrace our sovereignty and the pathway of harmonious sustainability. We must once more enable our web of life, changing the way we see the world and our place in it.

Journey of the Feminine Warrior is the opportunity to work in a new way with your inner world to create a powerful partnership between your inner life and your outer expression. At it’s heart is the intention of building a solid foundation of practices that will strengthen your inner core.

We are part of nature, not separate from it. Through experiences of the wild, both inner and outer, you will learn to bring a new balance to your life. Through contemplation, visionary meditation, inner journeys, deep relaxation techniques and sharing in the power of community you will harmonize instinct with intention to become a co creator. It is in this way that we put ourselves back in the great reciprocal web that is life on Earth.

This great odyssey of the heart is brimming with adventure. Tracking the footprints of Granuaile O’Malley, the daring and exceptional 16th century pirate queen, you will draw inspiration from leadership that is both unique and ingenious as you create your own new vision of making a difference. You will work with the unitary image of the feminine that represents the ground from which our development and power grows along with our sense of belonging. We will sail to Clare island, stronghold of Granuaile, and visit her castle along with the ruined 15th century abbey which has original medieval frescos on the walls. We will also enjoy a wonderful day out with local archaeologist and story teller Michael Gibbons. You will spend time in local communities, immersed in the culture – both mythic and historic, enjoy traditional music, story telling and poetry and the splendor of the spring nature in wild Connemara. We will visit holy wells for healing, enjoy walks, experience mystical sites of pre history and have quality time for rest, contemplation and journal writing.

In these challenging times we need to feel part of something greater. Too often we feel alone, isolated. During these 10 days you will enjoy support, new friendships, intimate conversation and a time out of time where you are living in the present moment.

Our accommodation is a homely, comfortable cottage that features a conservatory overlooking Streamstown Bay, where we will share sumptuous vegetarian feasts prepared with local produce, accompanied by great conversation, stories and fun! During our time together we will travel in our own 2 mini buses and on days out we bring delicious picnics of homemade fare.

Special diets are catered for.

In all we take special care of you and nurture your soul.
